The National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027 and National President of the APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG), Amb. Musa Muhammed Tsoken, has congratulated the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, PhD, CFR, on his recognition as the DTN@100 Lawmaker of the Year (House of Representatives) by the Daily Times of Nigeria.
Tsoken, in a congratulatory statement issued on behalf of his family, the leadership and members of the two political support organisations, described Kalu’s recognition as a well-deserved acknowledgement of his contributions to legislative development and public service.
He also congratulated the Deputy Speaker on receiving additional recognitions from The Sun and New Telegraph, describing the awards as evidence of Kalu’s growing stature and impact in Nigeria’s legislative space.
According to Tsoken, Kalu’s achievements reflect “sterling public service, innovative legislative acumen, and unwavering commitment to the progress of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
He particularly commended the Deputy Speaker’s role as Chairman of the House Committee on Constitution Review, noting that his engagement with constitutional reforms, people-oriented policies and inter-governmental relations had contributed to ongoing efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s democratic institutions.
Tsoken said Kalu’s commitment to regional development and good governance was consistent with the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We are immensely proud to witness your rising stature as a beacon of good governance and political stability,” Tsoken said.
He described Kalu as an outstanding legislative leader whose experience and commitment to national development would continue to be valuable to the country.
Tsoken further prayed for divine wisdom, good health and greater accomplishments for the Deputy Speaker as he continues to serve Nigeria.
“Hearty congratulations, Mr. Deputy Speaker,” he added.
