Tsoken Appointed to Jimkuta’s 2027 Re-election Campaign Council, Gets APC-IGG’s Commendation

The National President of the APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG) and National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027, Amb. Musa Muhammed Tsoken, has been appointed to the Directorate of Media and Strategic Communication of the 2027 re-election Campaign Council of Senator David S. U. Jimkuta, representing Southern Taraba Senatorial District.

The appointment has attracted commendation from the National Working Team of APC-IGG and the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027, which described the development as a recognition of Tsoken’s experience, political mobilisation capacity and commitment to public service.

In a congratulatory statement issued by the National Working Team, Tsoken was described as a committed advocate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, with considerable experience in grassroots political mobilisation and strategic engagement.

The statement noted that his appointment would provide an opportunity to deploy his organisational and communication skills towards mobilising support for Senator Jimkuta’s re-election bid in 2027.

Tsoken will serve under the Director-General of the campaign, Barr. Istifanus Haruna Gbana, a former Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly and former Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.

The National Working Team also highlighted the longstanding professional relationship between Tsoken and Gbana, disclosing that the APC-IGG leader had served as Litigation Secretary to the former Speaker since 1996.

According to the statement, the relationship, built over several years, reflects mutual trust, loyalty and a shared commitment to public service.

It further described Gbana as one of the longest-serving Speakers in Taraba State’s history, noting that he discharged the responsibilities of the office with dignity and distinction.

The group expressed appreciation to Senator Jimkuta for considering Tsoken worthy of the strategic campaign assignment, describing the appointment as both timely and deserving.

Amb. Tsoken, who holds several professional credentials, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management (FCIPDM) and a Fellow of Public Policy Analysis (FPPA). He is also pursuing a PhD in Human Security and Counter-Terrorism.

The National Working Team reaffirmed its support for Tsoken, expressing confidence that his appointment would strengthen the campaign’s media, strategic communication and grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.

It wished him success in the new assignment and congratulated him on what it described as a well-deserved recognition of his years of commitment to political organisation and public engagement.I can also adapt this into a more prominent Time Nigeria-style political news report, with a sharper headline and stronger analytical framing.
