The 7-day Fidau prayer for the late Alhaja Maryam Mohammed Ajia, mother of Ajia, will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Ajia Ogbonde Compound in Agaka-Isale Fulani, Ilorin, Kwara State.
The prayer session, which is scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM, is expected to draw family members, friends, community leaders, and sympathizers from far and wide, as they gather to offer prayers for the repose of her soul.
Hajia Maryam Ajia, a respected matriarch and beloved figure within her community, passed away recently, leaving behind children, grandchildren, and loved ones who continue to mourn her profound loss.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un – Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return,” the family said in a statement, expressing gratitude to all who have reached out in this time of grief.
They called on well-wishers to continue praying for her, asking Allah (SWT) to forgive her shortcomings, illuminate her grave, and grant her eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus.
