Kwara ACF Commends President Tinubu Over Dr Ghali Alaya’s Appointment as Non-Executive Director, NNPCL

The Arewa Consultative Forum, Kwara State chapter has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing the state Chairman of the Forum, Dr Ghali Alaya as Non-Executive member of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).

In a statement signed by State Publicity Secretary Malam Yusuf Olayinka Erubu and State Secretary Alh Abdullahi Yusuf respectively stated that, “The appointment of the State Chairman of the Forum, Dr Ghali Alaya is a welcome development”.

The Forum lauded the president for his foresight in appointing a seasoned technocrat who possesses the requisite experience and expertise to help the NNPCL attaining its full potential.

The statement also congratulated Dr. Alaya on the appointment and urges him to discharge his duties with utmost professionalism and integrity as well as making the President and the nation proud.

“The NNPCL is a critical institution that plays a crucial role in the development of the Nigerian economy.”

The Forum expressed confidence that appointee would bring his vast knowledge and experience to the table and help the corporation achieve its mandate.

“We are pleased with the appointment of Dr Ghali Alaya as Non-Executive member of the NNPCL. We believe that he has the competence and expertise to contribute immensely to the growth and development of the corporation. We urge him to discharge his duties with professionalism and integrity and help the NNPCL achieve its full potential,” the statement said.

ACF also appreciates President Tinubu for his commitment to the development of the Nigerian economy.

Adding that, “The president has demonstrated leadership and vision in his appointments, which shows that he is committed to the growth and development of the country.

The ACF, Kwara State chapter, therefore, called on all Nigerians to support the NNPCL and Dr Ghali Alaya in ensuring that the corporation achieves its mandate.

It therefore called on the federal government to provide the necessary support and resources needed for the NNPCL to function effectively.
