JAMB Approves Free Registration for Qualified Candidates with Special Needs

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board had approved free registration for candidates with Special Needs that possessed five O/Level credit.

This is contained in a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer
of the Nigeria National Association of the Deaf, NNAD, Comr. Abdullahi Isma’il Ibrahim, Saturday and made available to newsmen in Abuja.

The statement, “We’re pleased to inform you that the registrar of Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board(JAMB) has concluded arrangement to issue free Jamb application forms to any eligible Persons with disabilities who have five(5) credits in his/her O/level.

“The decision for free JAMB application forms was part of resolution made on 26/Sept/2023 at the First National Conference On Equal Opportunity of Access to Higher Education in Nigeria which was spearhead by the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group (JEOG) registrar Prof.Is-haq Oloyede.

“We want to use this medium to thank the JAMB registrar in Person of Prof. Is-haq Oloyede for his selfless service and support for the educational needs and goals of Persons with special needs in Nigeria.

“Conclusively, we enjoin those who are eligible among persons with disabilities to kindly go for the forms while those who don’t have the requirement at hand should hold on.” The statement concludes.
