We shall be monitoring your progress and at the right time we shall come in to appreciate your efforts.”
Earlier in a joint address delivered by a member of the committee, Engineer Stephen Ojeleye, the group disclosed that they are a non-profit group based in the USA with the aim to complement government’s efforts in bringing the best of medicare to the people by all ways possible.
According to the group, their area of intervention is in the provision of ambulances in strategic places in the state with several medical equipment and supplies to be used in the course of the project.
The group said they had already taken delivery of one of the Ambulances which was brought to the House. They however disclosed that they “intend to ship in as many Ambulances as possible to help in rescue missions on our roads in case of emergency. When these Ambulances are stationed at areas like Ilorin-Omu-Aran to Kwara boundary and Ajase-Offa road they will greatly help motorists who ply these routes.”
The group therefore solicited for the moral support of the Speaker and members of the House towards the official project inauguration of the group which will be coming up on the 13th of July,2017 at Landmark University, Omu-Aran.
