The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alh. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Alh. Abdullahi Olesin, the regional editor of LEADERSHIP Newspapers (North-Central), for receiving the prestigious Award of Credence. This accolade recognizes Olesin’s significant contributions to society through developmental journalism.
In addition to the Emir’s commendation, the Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ) have also expressed their congratulations to Olesin.
The senior adviser and counselor to the Kwara State governor, Alh. Saadu Salahu, alongside the special adviser on media, Alh. Bashiru Adigun, joined in celebrating Olesin’s achievement.
The award was presented during the “Our Bookworm Challenge Contest,” organized by SWOT in honor of Professor Saudat Abdulbaqi Sallah from the Mass Communication Department at the University of Ilorin.
