The session brought together stakeholders to evaluate ongoing community health interventions, share progress updates, and strengthen collaboration among partners.
Speaking at the event, the State Programme Officer, Samuel Chuwang, said they are working in nine local government areas of Gombe State to tackle and prevent malaria.
Mr. Chuwang described malaria as a deadly disease and urged people to adopt preventive measures to achieve a malaria-free environment.
Also speaking, Hassana Yakubu Mai-Sanda encouraged residents to support the organization’s efforts in combating malaria in the state.
She further highlighted key preventive measures such as the use of mosquito nets and taking anti-malaria drugs.
Key discussions at the meeting focused on strategies to enhance grassroots sensitization, improve access to essential health services, and mobilize community support for routine immunization and nutrition programs.:
