PWAN Chairman Breaks Silence on Allocation Delays, Assures Clients of Swift Resolution

1 Mins read

Chairman and Co-Founder of PWAN Group, Dr. Austin Onwumere, has addressed growing concerns over delayed land allocations by the real estate firm, assuring clients of the company’s unwavering commitment to resolving all pending issues.

In a video statement released on June 2, Dr. Onwumere acknowledged the frustrations expressed by clients and clarified that the delays stem from broader industry-wide challenges, rather than any wrongdoing by PWAN.

“We have nothing to do with duping anybody or scamming anyone. It is far from who we are,” he stated. “We are responsible people and committed to solving every client’s issue.”

Founded three decades ago by Dr. Onwumere and his wife, PWAN has grown into one of Nigeria’s leading real estate networks. Addressing the current concerns, he explained that land acquisition and allocation often face unpredictable obstacles, including shifting market dynamics and regulatory setbacks.

“Real estate, especially landed property transactions, come with numerous obstacles that sometimes lead to delayed, not denied, allocations,” he said. “We hear you, and we are sorry.”

Dr. Onwumere extended a personal and corporate apology to affected clients and disclosed that since the beginning of 2025, PWAN has intensified efforts to recover endangered lands and resolve allocation bottlenecks. He stressed that while allocations may have been delayed, clients’ investments remain secure.

“Your money is not lost. You will receive your land. It’s only a matter of time,” he affirmed.

To fast-track resolution, PWAN has declared land allocation a “state of emergency.” Dr. Onwumere announced he will now personally supervise the process in collaboration with a task force established months ago to address allocation-related issues.

“I make a fervent promise today—everyone who has paid us will get what they rightfully deserve,” he vowed.

The company has also unveiled dedicated communication channels for clients to follow up on allocation matters, ensuring transparency and prompt responses.
