Dan Amanar Fune: Kwara PDP Secretary Congratulates Ajia on Prestigious Traditional Title

The State Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdullahi Kayode, has extended his warmest congratulations to Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim Ajia, the 2023 Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency Candidate of the party and Chairman of FUNAB Group of Companies, who was turbaned as the Dan Amana of Fune Emirate, Yobe State, by the Emir of Fune, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Saleh Ibn Uthman, today 28th June, 2025 at the Fune Palace.

This is contained in a statement signed by Abdulrahman Abdullahi Kayode, State Secretary, Kwara PDP, stated that, “The relationship between Alhaji Ajia and the Fune Emirate dates back to his tenure as Security Aide to the late Governor of Yobe State, Senator Mamman B. Ali. During this period, he played a pivotal role in facilitating communication between the Emir and the Governor.

Mallam Kayode highlighted Alhaji Ajia’s numerous contributions to Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State by extension, including facilitating hundreds of federal jobs and developmental projects. He noted that the recognition and reward bestowed upon Ajia by the Fune Emirate is a testament to his dedication to humanitarian work and community development to their emirate and other communities.

The PDP Secretary prayed that the chieftaincy title would usher in more prosperity for the emirate and open doors for greater opportunities in Alhaji Ajia’s life. He expressed joy that Ajia’s efforts have been acknowledged and celebrated beyond Kwara State. The statement concluded.
