ASHRAAF Islamic Foundation Celebrates Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe’s Emergence as Chairman of COSCEN

Ashraaf Islamic Foundation, under the leadership of Imam Sharafudeen Abdulsalam Aliagan, has congratulated the Honourable Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development in Kwara State, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, on his well-deserved appointment as the Chairman, Committee of State Commissioners of Education in Nigeria (COSCEN).

“The Foundation described his emergence as a recognition of his unwavering commitment to educational reform, human capital development, and strategic leadership within Nigeria’s education sector.

“His professional depth and reform-driven mindset have continued to distinguish him as a transformative figure in the pursuit of improved learning outcomes nationwide.

“Ashraaf Islamic Foundation, proud to have Dr. Olohungbebe as a valued member of its Board of Directors, affirmed that his new national assignment is a testament to his integrity, passion, and deep-rooted dedication to strengthening education across every level.”

The Foundation expressed great confidence that his chairmanship will usher in renewed collaboration, progressive initiatives, and impactful interventions that benefit schools, teachers, and learners across the federation.

Speaking on behalf of the Foundation, Imam Sharafudeen Abdulsalam Aliagan urged Dr. Olohungbebe to continue deploying his extensive experience and visionary leadership toward shaping a more robust and inclusive educational system for Nigeria.

He prayed for Allah’s divine guidance, wisdom, and protection as he undertakes this important national responsibility.

“May Almighty Allah (SWT) grant him resounding success in this new role and continue to make him a worthy ambassador of Islam, Kwara State, and Nigeria,” the statement added.
