Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, Ph.D, the Dan Amanan Fune Emirate of Yobe State and Nwanne Ukwu Di Na Mba of Amaba-Ukwu Item in Abia State, has sent goodwill messages to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, CON, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.

In a statement signed by his Director of Communications, Mallam Abdulrahman Aliagan, and made available to journalists in Abuja on Thursday, Dr. Ajia prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants the Governor long life, good health, and continued guidance as he discharges his responsibilities to the people of Kwara State.

He also prayed for wisdom and strength for the Governor and his administration to effectively address security concerns and other challenges confronting the state.

Dr. Ajia further expressed deep sympathy with Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the government, and the people of Kwara State over the tragic incident in Woro community of Kaiama Local Government Area, which reportedly claimed about 75 lives. He described the incident as painful and disturbing, praying that Allah (SWT) grants eternal rest to the departed and comforts the families and communities affected by the tragedy.

Dr. Ajia used the occasion to call on the administration to deepen its focus on tangible dividends of democracy for Kwarans, noting that the expectations of the people at this stage of the Governor’s life and tenure include improved security, expanded economic opportunities, and inclusive development across communities.

He urged citizens of Kwara State to continue to support lawful efforts of government, particularly by cooperating with security agencies through the provision of timely and credible information, stressing that peace and development are shared responsibilities.

Dr. Ajia concluded by praying for Allah’s continued protection over the Governor, his family, and the people of Kwara State, and wished him many more years of life in good health as he continues his public service.

“May Allah (SWT) grant His Excellency a longer life, sound health, and the wisdom to advance the welfare of the people of Kwara State,” the statement said.
