The National President of the APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG), Ambassador Musa Muhammed Tsoken, has congratulated Hajiya Hon. Zainab A. Ibrahim on her emergence as the running mate to Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the leadership and members of APC-IGG nationwide, Tsoken described the nomination as a landmark development that represents a victory for women, merit, and inclusive governance in Taraba State.
According to him, Hajiya Zainab’s emergence reflects her years of dedicated service, loyalty, and commitment to grassroots development, noting that her political experience and leadership qualities made her deserving of the position.
He recalled her contributions as a former Deputy Woman Leader, where she championed women’s participation in politics, mobilized youths, and strengthened the relationship between the people and the party leadership.
Tsoken stated that the choice of a woman with proven capacity sends a strong message about the growing recognition of women’s role in governance and nation-building.
He further noted that Hajiya Zainab’s nomination would strengthen good governance in Taraba by complementing Governor Kefas’ administration in delivering people-oriented policies, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, security, youth empowerment, and community development.
The APC-IGG President also expressed confidence that her wide acceptance across the three senatorial districts of the state would further promote unity, peace, development, and food security.
While assuring the governor’s running mate of the organization’s support, Tsoken prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and protection as she prepares for the responsibilities ahead.
He expressed optimism that her emergence would inspire more women to actively participate in leadership and contribute meaningfully to the development of Taraba State and Nigeria.
Ambassador Tsoken signed the statement in his capacity as National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027 and National President of the APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG).
