INEC Confirms Oladigbo Oluwasogo Olalekan As SDP Candidate For Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released its list of qualified candidates for the forthcoming 2027 Presidential and National Assembly elections, confirming Oladigbo Oluwasogo Olalekan, ASM, ACIPM, HRPL, as the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives election.

The development marks a significant milestone in Oladigbo’s political journey as he prepares to formally take his campaign message to the people of Obokun and Oriade and seek their support and votes ahead of the election scheduled for January 16, 2027.

Oladigbo Oluwasogo Olalekan is a writer, author, broadcaster, publisher, Human Resources professional and public affairs commentator. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and has accumulated extensive professional experience across banking, media, administration and human resources.

He has also served at the Board of Directors level of a broadcasting company in Lagos, bringing considerable experience in media management, communication and public affairs to his political career.

Beyond his professional and political engagements, Oladigbo is a contributor to United States, Florida base news outlets DrRichSwier.com, where he has published several columns, articles and opinion pieces addressing political, economic and social issues.

According to his political vision, the people of Obokun/Oriade deserve representation that is closer to the grassroots, responsive to their needs and committed to creating opportunities for sustainable development.

With the INEC confirmation now providing a major boost to his candidacy, Oladigbo Oluwasogo Olalekan is set to hit the campaign trail, taking his message of a new political direction to the people of Obokun/Oriade and seeking their mandate for the House of Representatives in 2027.
