The Federal Housing Authority has said that the current administration of the authority is committed to delivering housing directly to the end-users without any bottleneck.

The current Managing Director of FHA, Professor Muhammed Al Amin said this at the ongoing 11th edition of the Abuja International Housing Show at the International Conference Center.

He said the leadership of the FHA has developed strategic plans that would ensure that their products and services are end-user driven without any issue of hijack along the line.

According to the FHA boss, “Every houses which is government subsidized will definitely get to the end user.” Citing the Family Home Fund which is targeted at the people at the bottom of the ladder, he said that the FHA has every cadre of the society in its housing plan.

Al Amin revealed that with monthly payment of 30,000 any Nigerian can key into the scheme.

He also revealed that the Federal Housing Authority Diaspora City Project is on course. Al Amin said that the project is targeted at Nigerians living outside the country who wish to own their own house in Nigeria.

“So many people have been duped along the line of getting houses of their own in Nigeria. It is the obligation of the government to do something about that,” he said. He revealed that the ground breaking of two sites for the project would soon be done.
