The Nigerian Baptist youths have felicitated with Senator Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora and Mr Sunday Akindare on their appointments and assumption of offices as Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Health and Minister, Ministry of Youth and Sports Development respectively.

The youths under the aegis of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, NBCYC, said that the two Ministers are worthy ambassadors of the Baptist.

In a statement signed by the group’s National President, Pastor Onajite Enunuaye, he described their appointments as a right one especially at a time the nation deserves nothing but the best.

“We congratulate two of our members who have been called to serve their father’s land through their various ministries.

“These appointments do not come to us as a surprise because it has been divinely arranged.

“We are confident that the ministers would make us proud because they have grown through the ranks in the Baptist faith where they have learned that governments are established by God and they are not a terror to good work as read in Roman 13:3.”

He emphasised that they would both succeed in their various offices given their wealth of experiences.

Onajite, however, urged them not to forget their roots and uphold the tenets of the faith urging them to see their offices as their mission fields.

“We want you to know that your various ministries and assignments are your new mission fields. You must do everything possible to preach Christ and draw more men to the saving knowledge of the Master through your actions in the course of carrying out your assignments.

He prayed that the Lord would uphold them and make them the change that this nation needs at this end-time stressing that they have the supports of the youths of the Nigerian Baptist Convention.
