On the eve of a historic celebration in Amaba-Ukwu Item, Abia State, tradition and destiny quietly converged. Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, Ph.D., stood in moments captured with leaders who reflect Nigeria’s diversity and shared future—Governor Alex Otti of Abia State,

His Highness Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II, and Professor Arunma Oteh, former Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission and a teacher in one of the prestigious Universities around the globe.

His Royal Highness, Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammed Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II and Professor Arunma Oteh at the eve of the 80th birthday celebration of His Royal Highness, Eze J. Osoka Agwu, the Aba-Ukwu of Amaba-Ukwu Item.

Each image told a story beyond the frame: of unity, respect, and service across regions and institutions.

Ajia joined prominent personalities from all the walks of life including Governor Otti during 2025 Atani Day Celebration, at Atani Community School field in Arochukwu Local Area of Abia state.

A moment preceded the landmark honour, the conferment of the revered chieftaincy title Nwanne Ukwu Di Na Mba by His Royal Highness, Eze J. Osoka Agwu, the Aba-Ukwu of Amaba-Ukwu Item, during the monarch’s 80th birthday celebration.

Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, the Dan Amanar Fune Emirate of Yobe State and the new Nwanne Ukwu Di Na Mba of Amaba-Ukwu Item in Abia in an intimate discussion with Prof Arunma Oteh at the event.

Bestowed in recognition of goodwill, commitment to community development, and unwavering support for traditional institutions, the title reflects Ajia’s enduring role as a bridge between cultures and peoples.
