The town of Ilorin is set to come alive on the 1st of October 2023 as Zawiyyatul-Amni Aliagan prepares to host its 6th Annual Maolid Nabiyy celebration. This highly anticipated event, to hold under the auspices of the late Sheikh Yaqub Daniyal Alabi Aliagan, the pioneer Missioner of Ansarul-Islam Society of Nigeria Ikare Akoko promises an enriching experience for attendees.

This year, the theme of the event is “Islamic Attitude: Towards Challenging Times,” which aims to explore the mindset and actions required to navigate difficult circumstances in line with Islamic teachings. With the world facing numerous challenges, such as the economic hardship and social unrest, the chosen theme is both timely and relevant.

Distinguished guest speakers will grace the occasion, bringing their wealth of Islamic knowledge and insights to the discourse. Among them is Fadeelat Sheik Suleiman Farooq Onikijipa Al-Misikinubillahi, OON, the Grand Mufti of Ilorin, who is renowned for his deep understanding of Islamic knowledge and principles. His profound understanding of the Quran and Haddith will shed light on the importance of maintaining an Islamic attitude during challenging times.

Sheikh Abubakar Ibrahim Olayeri of Oyingbo, Lagos, will also be present, sharing his wisdom and perspectives on the topic.

In addition to the esteemed speakers, the event will also feature Islamic scholars, academics, and experts who will discuss various aspects of Islamic teachings and their practical application in today’s world. Topics such as resilience, patience, and compassion will be explored, providing attendees with valuable lessons on how to navigate difficult circumstances while upholding their Islamic values

The esteemed Father of the Day is Alhaji Abdulsalam Oba Daniyal, the Mogaji Aliagan Dynasty, who holds significant influence within the community. His presence at the event will surely lend an air of authority and prestige.

Furthermore, the Spiritual Father of the Day is Fadeelat Sheik Imam Yaqub Aliagan, the Seriki Malamai of Ilorin, whose spiritual guidance and leadership have touched the lives of many.

Adding to the stellar lineup of speakers and guests is the Eminent Sheikh of the Day, Sheik Sharafudeen Saadudeen Ajara, the Grand Mufti of Tijaniyyah Kwara State. Known for his profound understanding of Islamic jurisprudence and Sufisim his presence will undoubtedly enrich the discussions and provide deeper insights into the chosen theme.

Taking on the role of Chief Host is Khalifat Muhammad Yaqub, a respected figure within Lagos and Ilorin communities, the chief Missioner, Ikwatul-Islam Lagos. His dedication to organizing a successful event is evident in the meticulous planning and preparations undertaken by the Zawiyyatul-Amni Aliagan team.

The event will be coordinated by Imam Sharafudeen Abdulsalam Aliagan, the Chief Imam NASFAT Mosque who doubles as zonal Missioner of the same NASFAT.

The celebration of Maolid Nabiyy is not just about intellectual discourse, but also a time for spiritual nourishment and reflection.

Special prayers will be offered for the nation, as attendees come together to seek divine intervention and blessings for their country.

Zawiyyatul-Amni Aliagan invites the public to join them in this joyous event, fostering unity and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood. The celebration of Maolid Nabiyy serves as a reminder to uphold the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and embrace the Islamic attitude towards challenging times.
