Amb. Chief (Dr.) Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, a cinematic maestro, trailblazing leader, and dedicated humanitarian, whose profound impact on Nollywood had garnered widespread acclaim and global recognition is still not resting on his oars.

Still basking in the euphoria of his world acclaimed successful International Student Film Festival, ISFF, at The Premier University, Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, the Africa’s most consistent filmmaker was honored minutes ago by Corporate institute of strategic research, CISR, Abuja – Nigeria with a PhD degree.

The Institute that is in collaboration with Global Centre For Advance Strategic Research, UK, today at Amatu Braide Hall, University of Port Harcourt, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria honored Amb. (Dr.) Lancelot Imasuen during the final day of the 3-day program on Strategic Research tagged; strategic Agility And Innovation In The Digital Age.

Dr. Lancelot whose several artistic works have continued to garner accolades around the world was the first Nollywood practitioner dead or alive to be honored with such high professional degree by the Abuja based Research Institute.
