*** Urges Patience, Unity, and Renewed Hope for Nigeria

As Muslims across Nigeria and the world celebrate Eid-il-Fitr, marking the end of the sacred month of Ramadan 1446AH, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, President/CEO of Funab Group of Companies Ltd, has extended warm greetings to the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, the people of Kwara State, and the entire Muslim Ummah.

In a statement signed by his Director of Communications, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan, and made available to journalists in Abuja, Ajia emphasized the significance of Eid-il-Fitr as a period of deep reflection, spiritual rejuvenation, and renewed commitment to faith, sacrifice, and compassion.

Ajia urged Nigerians, especially the youth, to remain steadfast in their belief in the greatness of the nation despite the current economic and political challenges. He encouraged them to channel their energy towards nation-building, innovation, and positive engagement both at home and abroad to restore Nigeria’s dignity and enhance its global standing.

Speaking on governance, Ajia called on political leaders at all levels to embrace good governance, prioritize people-centric policies, and operate an all-inclusive government. He stressed the urgent need for the government to address pressing national issues such as insecurity, economic hardship, inflation, and the rising cost of living, which have placed a heavy burden on the common man.

He further urged leaders to take proactive steps in tackling infrastructural decay, ensuring the provision of essential services, and promoting transparency and accountability in governance. According to him, the responsibility of leadership is to create a just, fair, and prosperous society where all citizens feel included and have opportunities to thrive regardless of their background.

Ajia also called for renewed commitment to national unity, peace, and sustainable economic development, urging Nigerians to continue praying for stability and progress in the country.

“As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us continue to pray for peace, stability, and progress in Nigeria. May Allah (SWT) bless our nation with wisdom for our leaders, unity among our people, and prosperity for all,” the statement read.

He concluded by wishing the Emir of Ilorin, Kwarans, and all Muslims a happy and fulfilling Eid-il-Fitr celebration, urging them to use the occasion to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, unity, and collective progress.
