The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin who doubled as the Chairman of the Association of West Africa Universities disclosed that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is set to mobilise all eligible batch ‘B’ Corp members for November 2016. He added that potential batch ‘B’ corp members should ignore wrong information circulation around that not all of them would be mobilise.

Ambali who disclosed this at the 32nd Convocation Press briefing of the University of Ilorin said that the Committee of Vice-Chancellors had met with the authorities of the NYSC in Abuja where the decision was taken.

This development was against the backdrop that batch ‘B’ Corp members will not be mobilized in November.

The VC who assured all eligible graduates for the 2016 Batch ‘B’ of being mobilised said the meeting also centered on the need for Vice-Chancellors to put in place internal mechanisms that would ensure credibility in the handling of mobilisation data by their institutions.
