Anozie Lauds Obasanjo, Jonathan, Buhari Over Second Niger Bridge

The Ezendigbo of Ibadan land and Chairman Non Indigenes Traditional Council Of Ibadan, Oyo State (NITCIOS) His Royal Highness (HRH) Eze Dr Alex Anozie has praised thr trio of President Muhammadu Buhari, former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Good luck Jonathan for their efforts in building the second Niger bridge, Onitsha,Anambra state.

The second Niger bridge will be commissioned before December,2022 according to news emmanating from the Federal Government of Nigeria.

In a release signed by Dr Anozie, he enjoined all Nigerians to appreciate the Federal government for completing the second Niger bridge which Nigerians have been clamouring for long time ago.

The Ezendigbo stated that he was particularly happy over the news bearing in mind that he was the first Nigerian who mooted the idea by calling on federal government to construct a second Niger bridge after which others joined in doing so.

He stated that it was during the Igbo day ceremony of 2002 at the Liberty stadium, Ibadan when the late Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu was Ndigbo Special guest of honor that he made the call.

He said it was contained in his address at the occasion with the Champion Newspaper of December 14, 2002 publishing it.

Dr Anozie who gave kudos to the federal government said that he is elated with the Presidents who made this happen beginning from Obasanjo, Jonathan to Buhari and prayed that God should bless Nigeria.

He however enjoined Nigerians to always appreciate governments at all levels whenever they make people happy through monumental projects.

They should also be criticized constructively when there are needs to do so .

The Second Niger Bridge will no doubt ease the pain people are going through every time they drive across the only Niger bridge available then,the Monarch added.
