The All Progressives Congress Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG), under the leadership of Ambassador Muhammed Musa Tsoken, has passed a resounding vote of confidence on the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, commending his steadfast commitment to Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Agenda and calling for strategic political appointments that would further consolidate the government’s achievements ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ambassador Tsoken, who also serves as the National Coordinator of Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027, described President Tinubu’s reforms as bold, visionary, and people-centered, stressing that the ongoing economic and fiscal restructuring efforts are already laying the foundation for a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria.
“We must sustain economic reforms that stimulate growth, attract investments, and promote sustainable development.
“At the same time, pension reforms must prioritize the welfare of our retired civil servants, ensuring timely payments, increased benefits, and access to quality healthcare. These measures are vital to restoring public trust in governance,” Tsoken said.
The APC-IGG President further praised the administration for transmitting the Fiscal Policy and Tax Reform Bill to the Senate, describing it as “a step in the right direction towards creating a transparent and efficient economic framework that will reposition Nigeria for global competitiveness.”
Ambassador Tsoken also commended the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, for his exemplary role in providing the necessary administrative direction to the Tinubu-led government. He noted that Akume’s tireless coordination of government policies and programmes has been instrumental in aligning the Renewed Hope Agenda with Nigeria’s development priorities.
“Senator Akume deserves special recognition for his diligence and dedication. His strategic oversight has ensured that the President’s vision is effectively translated into actionable policies, fostering coherence across ministries, departments, and agencies. This is the kind of leadership that guarantees the smooth delivery of government promises to the people,” Tsoken stated.
In what he described as a strategic necessity for good governance, Ambassador Tsoken therefore urged President Tinubu to reward loyalty, competence, and commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda by appointing capable and deserving party faithful into key government positions.
According to him, such appointments will not only boost public confidence but also inspire grassroots mobilization and renewed energy among APC loyalists nationwide, making the 2027 general elections a “work-over” for Mr. President.
“As Ambassadors of Change, we must harness the expertise of seasoned politicians, technocrats, and grassroots leaders who have consistently demonstrated loyalty to the party and commitment to national development. Strategic appointments will strengthen our collective resolve and ensure that the Renewed Hope Agenda is fully realized across every sector,” he emphasized.
Reiterating APC-IGG’s unwavering support for the Tinubu administration, Ambassador Tsoken assured that his group will continue to mobilize Nigerians in support of the government’s transformative policies, while promoting accountability, transparency, and good governance.
“Together, we can achieve greatness. Nigeria’s prosperity, stability, and unity remain our ultimate goal, and we at APC-IGG will work hand-in-hand with the government to ensure this dream becomes a reality,” he declared.
The APC-IGG concluded its statement with a patriotic call: “Long Live President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Long Live APC, Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!”
