The President had stayed back in London to see his doctors after attending the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education (GPE 2021-2025), which held on July 29.

Buhari’s spokesman, Femi Adesina, presidential said Buhari is scheduled for a medical appointment after the summit, and is expected back in the country in the second week of August.

There had been unconfirmed reports alleging Tinubu is also receiving medical treatment in London due to his prolog absent from the country.

Recently, Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, also paid a visit to Tinubu in London, insisted that the APC chieftain is “hale and hearty”.

“I went to see things for myself,” Sanwo-Olu said

“It is just to put the minds and hearts of people to rest that there is nothing for us to worry about.”
