The success and growing acceptance of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, across Nigeria, particularly in Taraba State has been driven not only by national leadership but also by committed grassroots actors whose loyalty, vision, and tireless mobilisation continue to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Among these key figures are Ambassador Muhammed Musa Tsoken and Senator David S. U. Jimkuta, two political leaders whose collaboration, advocacy, and empowerment-driven initiatives have significantly reinforced the APC’s structure and influence in Taraba State and beyond.
Before the defection of Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State, Senator David S. U. Jimkuta, as the leader of the APC in the state, worked round the clock to ensure the stability, relevance, and expansion of the party. His leadership was defined by inclusiveness, strategic planning, and a deep commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Senator Jimkuta consistently demonstrated that leadership is best measured by impact, particularly through people-oriented programs. Through several well-structured empowerment programmes across Taraba State—most notably in Wukari, Takum, Donga, Ibi, and Ussa Local Government Areas, which are his immediate catchment areas and , or Federal Constituency which he primarily represent —Senator Jimkuta ensured that young people, women, and party faithful were not only politically engaged but economically supported.
These initiatives were designed to carry everyone along, reinforcing party unity while creating sustainable pathways for political participation and self-reliance. His “gigantic empowerment projects” became a model of how political leadership can translate into real social value.

His advocacy transcends mere political alignment; it is rooted in conviction, ideology, and a belief in good governance. Amb. Tsoken’s media presence has helped shape public discourse, counter misinformation, and project the achievements and future vision of the Tinubu administration. Senator Jimkuta’s public recognition of Amb. Tsoken, during the Takum Empowerment program, underscores the depth of respect and synergy between the two leaders.
Together, their efforts contributed significantly to the wave of political realignments and defections witnessed across the country, particularly by strengthening confidence in the APC as a party of structure, opportunity, and inclusive governance.
In essence, the collaboration between Senator David S. U.
