Dan Amanan Fune Celebrates Emir of Ilorin on 30 Years of Remarkable Reign

The President/Chief Executive Officer of Funab Group of Companies Ltd and Dan Amanan Fune, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, Ph.D., has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Chairman, Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers and the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the momentous occasion of his 30th Coronation Anniversary.

In a statement issued in Abuja by his Director of Communications, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan, and made available to journalists, Dr. Ajia described the reign of the Emir as a golden era marked by peace, progress, wisdom, and uncommon leadership that has brought honour and unity to Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State, and Nigeria at large.

“On this auspicious occasion of His Royal Highness’s 30th Coronation Anniversary, I join the good people of Ilorin Emirate, Kwarans, and indeed Nigerians from all walks of life in celebrating a visionary, revered, and peace-loving monarch whose life of service has been a beacon of inspiration to many,” Ajia said.

He further extolled the Emir’s steadfast commitment to promoting Islamic values, cultural heritage, and harmonious coexistence among diverse communities, noting that the Emir’s leadership has consistently reflected the principles of justice, humility, and wisdom.

“Over the past three decades, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, has not only upheld the dignity of the Ilorin Emirate but has also transformed it into a centre of learning, culture, and spiritual excellence. His contributions to peacebuilding, human capital development, and interfaith understanding remain unparalleled,” Ajia added.

The Dan Amanan Fune also lauded the Emir for his fatherly role in guiding the people of Kwara State, particularly the youth, toward the path of discipline, enterprise, and respect for tradition, describing him as “a custodian of wisdom and a pillar of stability in Nigeria’s traditional institution.”

Ajia prayed that Almighty Allah continues to grant the Emir good health, divine wisdom, and long life to continue his noble service to humanity, the Ilorin Emirate, and the entire nation.
