The death of a Kwara State Senior High Court Judge, Justice Titilayo Daibu has stalled the trials of Sobi FM’s Senior Editor, Dare Akogun and his brother, Abdulrasheed Akogun, publisher of Fresh Insight online TV.

At the resumed trial today, the Akogun brothers were in court with their counsel but the court clerk said the proceedings will not hold following the death of the judge who was buried yesterday according to Islamic injunctions.

It would be recalled that the the brothers were charged to court by the police through a petition written by the Chief Press Secretary of the state, Mallam Rafiu Ajakaye, accusing them of defamation and inciting public against the Government.

Sobi FM’s Judiciary Correspondent, Kayode Adeoti, report that the court has fixed 7th of next month for the continuation of trial.
