DG NILDS Celebrates Emir Sulu-Gambari’s 29-Year Reign

The Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the 29th anniversary of his ascension to the throne.

In a congratulatory message conveyed through Mohammad Abdulkadri, ANIPR, Media Adviser to the DG NILDS marking the occasion on November 11, 2024.

Professor Sulaiman highlighted the Emir’s nearly three-decade rule as a period of significant milestones in Ilorin’s history. He expressed deep admiration for the Emir’s enduring dedication to the community, describing his reign as a “watershed” moment in the annals of Ilorin.

As the Emir celebrates this milestone, Professor Sulaiman offered prayers for continued health, wisdom, and prosperity, urging Allah to make the coming years even more remarkable for the revered leader.

Emir Sulu-Gambari, who has led Ilorin with grace and wisdom, has left an indelible impact on the community and the nation, fostering peace and progress throughout his reign.
