Gov. Inuwa Yahaya Builds GOSTEC Headquarters to Strengthen Security in Gombe

Governor Inuwa Yahaya established GOSTEC to complement existing security agencies in maintaining law and order, ensuring environmental safety, and regulating traffic across the state.

As part of efforts to enhance security across Gombe State, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has successfully completed the permanent headquarters of the Gombe State Security, Traffic, and Environmental Corps (GOSTEC).

In a message to Newsmen in Gombe the Director General Press Affairs Government House Ismaila Uba Misilli, explained that Governor Inuwa Yahaya Builds GOSTEC Headquarters to Strengthen Security in Gombe

As part of efforts to enhance security across Gombe State, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has successfully completed the permanent headquarters of the Gombe State Security, Traffic, and Environmental Corps (GOSTEC).

Governor Inuwa Yahaya established GOSTEC to complement existing security agencies in maintaining law and order, ensuring environmental safety, and regulating traffic across the state.

Initially, the agency operated from a temporary office, but with the completion of its permanent headquarters, it is now better equipped to execute its mandate effectively.

The new GOSTEC headquarters provides a fully functional administrative/ operational base to enable the agency coordinate its operations more efficiently.

This development is a clear demonstration of governor’s commitment to institutionalizing security reforms and improving public safety in Gombe State.

The establishment and expansion of GOSTEC are in line with Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s broader vision of strengthening security architecture, ensuring a peaceful environment, and promoting the overall well-being of residents.

With this milestone, Gombe State will continue to set the pace in proactive governance, reinforcing its reputation as one of Nigeria’s most peaceful and well-organized states.
