Governor Uba Sani Lauded for Upgrading Hospitals and Enhancing Health Workers’ Welfare in Kaduna

Health stakeholders in Kaduna State have praised Governor Senator Uba Sani for his efforts in transforming the state’s healthcare sector, including renovating hospitals, providing modern medical equipment, and improving health workers’ welfare.

Professor Bello Yusuf Jamoh, Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board, highlighted the governor’s commitment to modernizing healthcare facilities and enhancing the well-being of health workers to improve the quality of life for Kaduna residents.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting, Professor Jamoh noted that the recent increase in health workers’ salaries would strengthen the health sector, boost staff morale, and encourage dedication toward preventing child-killer diseases.

He also commended the ongoing renovation and construction of hospitals, as well as the supply of essential drugs and equipment, which have significantly improved healthcare delivery across the state.

He further praised the Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA) for registering citizens into the state’s healthcare scheme and empowering women to adopt preventive measures against child-killer diseases.

Professor Jamoh urged health workers to maintain punctuality, dedication, and quality patient care, while encouraging citizens to utilize primary healthcare centers.

Dr. Yahuza Mohammed, Team Leader of the State Health Secretaries, expressed satisfaction with the improvements and assured the board that they will engage LGAs to encourage staff to justify the salary increase through dedicated service.

Comrade Umar Ibrahim Patika, Chairman of the Kaduna State Media and Health Union, also lauded Governor Uba Sani for prioritizing health workers’ welfare, noting the enthusiasm among professionals as a reflection of the governor’s impactful leadership.

“We sincerely commend the governor for his dedication and commitment to improving the lives of all workers in Kaduna State,” Patika said.

He head of communication and strategies for African climate reporters comrade Ibrahima yakubu also commended the state governor for transforming the health sector in the state
