“The order for a relentless manhunt underscores this administration’s resolve to deny terrorists any safe haven—whether in forests, border communities, or hidden enclaves—while also holding accountable those who aid or abet criminal activities,”

An All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholder, Ambassador Musa Muhammed Tsoken, has thrown his weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive ordering an all-out security operation to apprehend those responsible for the recent terrorist attack in Kasuwan Daji, describing the move as firm, timely, and reflective of decisive leadership.
Ambassador Tsoken, who is the National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027 and National President of the APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG), said the President’s order sends a clear message that the Federal Government will not tolerate terrorism or threats to national security.
President Tinubu had directed the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) to hunt down the perpetrators and ensure they are swiftly brought to justice.
Reacting to the directive, Tsoken noted that the President’s response demonstrates an unambiguous commitment to protecting Nigerian lives and restoring peace to communities affected by violent extremism.

The APC chieftain also commended the President’s directive for urgent rescue operations aimed at securing the release of abducted victims, stressing that the safety and dignity of Nigerians must remain paramount.
He further welcomed plans to intensify security operations around vulnerable communities, particularly those close to forests and border routes, describing them as necessary measures to prevent future attacks and reassure citizens.
Tsoken’s position, he explained, is informed by sustained high-level engagements and the calibre of stakeholders within the platforms he leads. He recalled that the President’s directive came shortly after he and other senior northern stakeholders—including Mamman Usman, SAN, Chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum (NWC), alongside senior security personnel—paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Dr George Akume, CON, FNIM, KSJP, during the yuletide.
According to Tsoken, the SGF had re-emphasised the need for all citizens to contribute their quota to strengthening national security by supporting modern security techniques, particularly extensive community-based surveillance to identify and neutralise potential threats early.
“Surveillance at the community level should never be undermined. It remains a critical tool in consolidating and concretising counter-terrorism measures, especially in the North,” Tsoken added.
He noted that his advocacy for proactive security measures is also rooted in his strong academic background, having recently bagged an MSc in Human Security and Counter-Terrorism from Taraba State University, Jalingo—a training that has further shaped his inclination toward human-centred security policies and guarantees for public safety.
All these, Tsoken said, informed his resolve to publicly support the President’s directive and mobilise stakeholders behind its full implementation.
Calling on Nigerians to rally behind the President and the nation’s security agencies, Tsoken emphasised that unity across ethnic, religious, and regional lines is essential to defeating terrorism.
“This is a moment that calls for collective resolve. The President has spoken clearly, and it is now the duty of all stakeholders to support the implementation of this directive until every perpetrator is brought to justice,” he said.
While sympathising with the people of Kasuwan Daji and families of those affected, Tsoken prayed for the repose of the souls of the victims and urged residents to cooperate with security agencies by providing credible intelligence.
He reaffirmed the commitment of pro-APC stakeholders and support groups to the Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing confidence that sustained and intelligence-driven security actions under President Tinubu’s leadership will restore peace and stability to Kasuwan Daji and other threatened communities.
The Kasuwan Daji attack has once again brought national attention to Nigeria’s security challenges, with renewed calls for decisive action, public vigilance, and unwavering support for ongoing counter-terrorism efforts.
