Kwara Govt Dissociates Itself from PDP Governorship Aspirant’s House Demolition – SSA Media

Kwara State Government has distanced themselves from demolished house of one of the governorship aspirant under People Democratic Party (PDP) Mr. Lukman Mustapha.

 

In his reaction, the senior special adviser to the executive governor of Kwara State on Media, Dr. Muhydeen Akorede said,

 

“State Government has nothing to do with the reported demolished houses at Zango area of Ilorin. We understand the incident is the outcome of a civil dispute. And the government tried all their best to broker peace between the parties”.

 

“I have spoken to Mallam Lukman Mustapha on this, minutes ago and he is aware KWSG has nothing to do with the demolition”.

 

“It’s a shame if those young people seeking reform of Kwara State use falsehood and misinformation as tools”.

 

We could remember that news broke out on social media, alleged Kwara State Government of behinds the demolishing some houses around zango area, in Ilorin South local Government, which one of those houses belongs to a governorship hopeful under PDP.

In the course of investigation, another eyes witness that claimed to be involved in the case from beginning said,

 

“I will only advice the bloggers and news carriers to be careful of blaming the constituted authority”.

 

“I was involved in the case from day one till the end. The demolition is between the original land owners and the allottees. Though the role played by the government too is somehow”.

 

“The demolition is not done by kwara State government but the original land owners. Let’s be mindful of what we write”.
