MTN Applauds NCC for Partaking in Agents, Employees of Mobile Network Service Providers’ Capacity Development

The National Communication Commission (NCC) has been commended for taking part in a seminar to broaden the agents and employees of mobile network service providers.

The sales representative of MTN Nigeria PLC, Mr Ebechukwu Ngiwe who gave the commendation shortly after a seminar which was held at Riverton Hotel in Lokoja said the event was an eye opener as issues bothering on sim cards registration, laws guiding the procedures and compliant to government regulations were discussed.

Mr Ebechukwu thanked the organisers of the forum noting that issues of multiple taxation , identity cards for agents, National identity cards and age related issues in the course of registration would be review by appropriate authority.

Similarly, the area sales manager of Airtel Network in Kogi State, Mr Ayuba Sheidu described the event as the first of its kind as it avail the stakeholders in mobile network to meet with NCC to brainstorm on the way forward.

He said the arena created an avenue to meet with other service providers and emphasised that what was learnt would be applied practically in their daily activities.
