Na’Allah to Bag GUNi-Africa Leadership Award Tomorrow

Inspired by his achievements and leadership qualities, the Global University Network for Innovation (GUNi-Africa), has chosen the Vice-Chancellor, Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Professor AbdulRasheed Na’Allah, for the conferment of its Exemplary Leadership Award.

The GUNi-Africa President, Professor Peter Okebukola, made this known in an email to the Vice-Chancellor.

Okebukola is the Guest Lecturer at the KWASU first Education Lecture Series, scheduled for Thursday, November 8, 2018, at the University Mini Convocation Arena, at 12 noon.
The lecture is with the theme “Declaration of State of Emergency in Education: The Day After.’’

“After several weeks of consultations with the leadership of the Global University Network for Innovation (GUNi-Africa), created by UNESCO in 2000, we will be presenting you an Exemplary Leadership Award just after the end of the lecture,” Okebukola stated. He said he was proud of Na’Allah’s leadership of KWASU.

Responding, the Vice-Chancellor described the award as a great honour to him and to KWASU, noting that it “makes a world of difference for me and for KWASU. Thank you for finding us worthy of being recognized this way.”
