NGIJ Congratulates Tinubu, The President-Elect

The Nigeria Guild of Investigative Journalists (NGIJ) has congratulated the All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the just concluded election.

NGIJ President, Ayoyemi Mojoyinola in a statement issued on Wednesday hailed Tinubu’s consistency, commitment and contributions toward strengthening democratic rule in Nigeria.

The Guild while congratulating the former Lagos Governor urged him to fulfill his campaign promises, block leakages in revenue generation and reduce cost of governance in order to deliver more democratic dividends to the people.

NGIJ notes that the Guild will continue to unravel and expose malpractices activities in order to fight corruption and other sharp practices as the watch dog in the society.

The Guild also urged the president elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to allow Press Freedom during his reign as the president of federal republic of Nigeria.
