NGIJ Election: Veron Heads Bolaji Israel Campaign Directorate

Renowned administrator, PR professional and media guru, Comrade Bolaji Israel aka Bashorun has appointed the esteemed publisher of NEWSEXTRA, Adeyemi Obadimu, also known as Veron, as his Campaign Director General for the upcoming Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalist (NGIJ) election scheduled for the 3rd of August 2024.

Other prominent journalists including Rasheedat Okunlade ROTA and Olawale Rotimi would also serve in the committee As Deputy DGs in actualising Bashorun’s ambition to lead the association as National President.

In making the announcement, Bolaji cited Veron’s exceptional capability and proven leadership skills as the reasons for his appointment. With a wealth of experience in the media industry and a strong track record of successful campaigns, Veron is well-equipped to drive the NGIJ election campaign to success.

He noted that as National President, he would strive to reposition the guild through capacity building, investigation, partnership, events and democratic processes.

Bashorun Bolaji expressed his confidence in Veron’s ability to effectively mobilize support for the NGIJ election and lead the campaign team to victory. He emphasized the importance of having a capable and dynamic leader at the helm to ensure a successful outcome for the election.

As the NGIJ election gathers momentum, Bashorun Bolaji and Adeyemi Obadimu are committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and excellence in investigative journalism.
