A formidable group within the All Progressives Congress, APC in the South-South region under the aegis of Niger Delta Youths for Sustainable Democracy, NDYSD has thrown its weight behind Mallam Saliu Mustapha as the next national chairman of the ruling party.

The national coordinator of the group, Engineer Stephen Unoroh who disclosed this to newsmen in Patani, Delta State said Mallam Saliu Mustapha is the only aspirant in APC that has what it takes to make the needed change in the party as well as in lives of the common man for the better, according to the group’s coordinator,

Unoroh said, he identifies Mallam Saliu as a man of strong focus on primary issues of responsibility saying that that is what APC as a party desperately needs at this critical time.

According to him, “Having a focused candidate like him makes it difficult to support someone else, we have followed the trajectory of Saliu Mustapha and have come to the conclusion that the APC has what it takes to impact positively on the populace with Mallam Saliu Mustapha as its national chairman.

NDYSD scribe noted that, “Saliu has never been distracted in his call to duty throughout his political career, he has never lost track of his responsibilities to his consistency. Seeing to the plight of the common man is unprecedented, for close to two decades he has been at the vanguard of funding humanitarian services within and outside his state.

“Mustapha is a great listener who seeks advice from others, his ability to stay focussed on his assignment has never been in doubt, his candidacy would build momentum in the party and increase efficiency.

“The APC at this point needs a national chairman that is committed to staying glued on the issues facing the party and the country at large, the APC needs total concentration in order to address the multi-faceted problems tormenting the nation.”

Unoroh added that, Mustapha is strong, young, vibrant, idealistic, intelligent and – there is no getting around it – undeniably focused. With Saliu Mustapha the APC has what it takes to take Nigeria to the Promised Land.”
