NILDS DG Recieves CIPM Delegation

  • Assures on Strengthening Institutional Collaboration

The National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, National Assembly is consolidating partnership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, CIPM.

This is contained in a press statement signed by Mohammad Abdulkadri Media Adviser to DG NILDS and made available to TimeNigeria stated that, “This is sequel to the courtesy call on the Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman by the President of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, CIPM, Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir, FCIPM in his exquisite office.

“Professor Sulaiman enthusiastically assured the CIPM delegation that the well established partnership between the two Institutes is well on course.”

 

According to the statement, “while expressing satisfaction with the progress achieved thus far, he reaffirmed NILDS’ resolute resolve to working harmoniously with CIPM to ensure that the partnership’s objectives are fruitfully realized.

“The Chief Executive Officer of NILDS in his consumate disposition for partnership that works, harped on the need for sustainable collaborative efforts in improving Legislative processes and good governance through professional capacity building.

“The leader of CIPM delegation Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir who shares close affinity with the DG NILDS said the collaboration with the host Institute is to strengthen human resource management practice.

“Mallam Gobir gave kudos to the performing DG NILDS for the good job he is doing in expanding the coast of professional partnership towards building enduring Institutional capacity.

“The interface between NILDS and CIPM focused on the progress of the partnership entered into one year down the line, precisely on September 18th, 2023 to date.” The statement concludes.
