PDP governors hold strategic meeting in Rivers ahead of 2023

Twelve out of thirteen governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are seated at Government House, PortHarcourt for a strategic meeting ahead of the  2023 general elections.

Ten governors arrived at a gala night held at the Banquet Hall of the Government House.

The governors are Samuel Ortom (Benue) Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) Bala Mohammed (Bauchi) and  Umaru Fintiri (Adamawa) and the host governor, Nyesom Wike.

Others include Governor Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto) Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom), the  Zamfara State Deputy, Mahdi Gusau, the PDP National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, and other national officers of the party.

Taraba Governor, Darius Ishiaku, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta), and Senator Douye Diri (Bayelsa) arrived at the venue of the meeting on Monday while the Edo Governor, Dr. Godwin Obaseki is yet to arrive.
