According to the statement, “In our contemporary time, Senator Dr. George Akume, CON, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) has exemplifies these same virtues.

Through his numerous addresses and actions, he continues to play a pivotal role in advocating for national unity, strengthening democratic institutions, and driving the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR—an agenda that is central to Nigeria’s economic growth and development.

He called on the Church to partner with the government in realizing the Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasizing unity between faith and governance.
