The socio-cultural organization Omo Ibile Igbomina has hailed Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, as a true ally of the Igbomina people. The group reaffirmed its commitment to working with the senator to drive sustainable development in Kwara South Senatorial District.

This renewed partnership follows Senator Mustapha’s donation of a bus to support the activities of Omo Ibile Igbomina. The group expressed heartfelt appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a fulfillment of the senator’s promise during the recent Igbomina Day celebration, where he served as the chief launcher.

During an empowerment program attended by Senator Lola Ashiru, Senator Makanjuola Ajadi, and the Kwara South Senatorial Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Banji Olatoye, Omo Ibile Igbomina reiterated its dedication to collaborating with Senator Mustapha on initiatives that uplift the region.

In a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, Chief Hammed Aiyedun, the group praised the senator’s unwavering support for community development. The National President of Omo Ibile Igbomina, Elder Gabriel Jimoh, commended Senator Mustapha’s contributions to human capital development, infrastructure improvement, and the empowerment of women and youth.

“His dedication to the welfare of his constituents is truly commendable. This donation further underscores his commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance the well-being of our people,” Elder Jimoh stated.

The group emphasized that the newly donated bus will greatly enhance their ability to mobilize and engage with communities, further strengthening efforts to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the Igbomina people.

“We deeply appreciate Senator Mustapha’s recognition of our work and his unwavering support. This partnership remains invaluable, and we look forward to more collaborative efforts that foster unity and progress in Igbomina land,” the statement concluded.
