Sheikh AbdulKadir Solagberu to Observe His Inaugural Jumu’ah Service at National Mosque Abuja Tomorrow

Sheikh Dr. AbdulKadir Salman Solagberu, recently appointed as one of the Imams of the National Mosque, Abuja, will lead his inaugural Jumu’ah service tomorrow, Friday, February 7, 2025.

The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has called on all sons and daughters of Ilorin residing in Abuja and its environs to attend the historic service in large numbers.

In a statement, the Chairman of IEDPU FCT, Alhaji Lukman Atanda Abdullah, emphasized the importance of showing solidarity with Sheikh Solagberu, describing his appointment as a proud moment for the Ilorin Emirate.

“We urge all Ilorin indigenes to come out en masse to celebrate this achievement and support one of our own. His appointment is an honor to the entire Ilorin Emirate, and we must stand by him in prayers and attendance,” Alhaji Abdullah stated.

He also extended his congratulations to the new Imam, expressing confidence in his ability to serve with wisdom and dedication.

“As he assumes this noble role, we pray for Allah’s guidance, knowledge, and wisdom for Sheikh Solagberu to excel in his religious duties,” he added.

The inaugural Jumu’ah service will take place at the National Mosque, Abuja, at exactly 1:00 PM.
