Teina Promises to Improve on Existing Structure to Achieve Masterplan of Development in Kogi

The Director General, Bureau of Land, Urban and Regional Development, Mr Samari Abdulmalik Teina has promised to improve on the existing structures he met on ground to achieve the master plan of development in the state.

Mr Teina gave the assurance in an interview with newsmen in Lokoja.

He said land administration consist of several interest including that of individual, community and Government noting that common ground must always be reached in order to carry everybody along.

Mr Teina explained that Government by law has the right to allocate land with overiding interest above that of the community emphasising that communities must always respect the proclamation of (16) sixteen kilometers radius of the state capital as government territory.

On the swearing in of Ododo led administration, the Director General who thanked God for the political journey so far appealed to the people of Kogi state and Nigerians to give the needed support to enable him succeed.

He said Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is not new in the system haven served as the Auditor General of the Local Government and expressed optimism on his competence to take kogi to greater heights.

Similarly on the level of cooperation of members of staff of the Bureau, the DG described the staff as professionals who are always ready to perform their duty as expected and urged them to sustain the positive records.
