Traditional Rulers Laud Shuaibu Abubarkar Audu Foundation for Community Development

His Royal Majesties, the Ohinohi of Ebira Land, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim and Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Owoniyi have lauded the philanthropic and kind gestures of the  Grand Patron of Shuaibu Abubarkar Audu’s Foundation, Alhaji Shuaibu Audu,.

The royal fathers however urged individual and cooperate organisations to actively participate in community development by setting aside funds towards social responsibility.

The commendations were made during the commissioning of motorized boreholes in Okene and Kaba-bunu Local Government Areas respectively by the Grand Patron of Shuaibu Abubarkar Audu’s Foundation, Alhaji Shuaibu Audu.

Alhaji Ado Ibrahim expressed delight over the provision of motorized borehole to his community, he said, “The foundation is operating beyond ethnic identity”. The Royal father prayed for success in its entire endeavors.

Similarly, Oba Solomon Owoniyi thanked the Foundation for providing water source for the people assuring that lands would be freely offered for future empowerment schemes.

In his remarks, Alhaji Shuaibu who is a Chief Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Bank and son to late prince Abubarkar Audu called for coordinated efforts among the people to meet up with basic infrastructures needed in the society.

He said developed nations looked beyond governments for the provision of social amenities emphasising that private entities played critical roles to fast-track development as well.

Alhaji Shuaibu who visited the Palace of his His Royal Majesty, the Ohinohi of Ebira Land, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim said his NGO which has facilitated a motorized boreholes  in Nagazi community in Adavi Local Government Area would in future look into other areas of human needs.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiary communities, Mrs Kahdijat Ademu and  Olaolu Solomon thanked the foundation for its thoughtfulness in meeting their needs.
