Amidst the wide criticism of the present All Progressives Congress, APC-led government, the former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu has declared that the Buhari-led government  at the center has done very well to deserve another term.

He said that within the spate of three years, the APC government has done marvelously well compared to the previous party. He said this in Abuja recently while speaking to journalists.

While acknowledging that the economy might be biting, the former  governor said the government is performing.

“It is just only 3 years and another party has done 16 years and am sure APC has done a lot in 3 years. Everybody knows that I speak the truth. APC has done very well. I will take my own side of Nigeria. The Niger Bridge is being constructed now, Enugu-Onitsha Expressway is being built, Enugu-Port Hacourt-Okigwe-Aba-Umuahia expressway is on top speed” he said.

“To me, we are on top gear. Other places I have gone the roads are being constructed you can say about everything but you cannot say about development.

The former governor who was a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party crossed to the All Progressives Congress in 2016.

It would be recalled that the former Abia Governor Orji Uzor Kalu Defects to APC Amidst N3.2bn Fraud Case as he promised to add value to the party.
