* APC Rally Turned Chaos, in Edu LG AS Youth Revolt
*…Say We Were Used, Dumped
Youths of Edu LG ,who in their hundreds participated in the rally organised to canvas support for Abdulrazaq’s second term bid , today turned the rally around and passed vote of no confidence on the government of Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq, noting that the APC leadership deceived their people for 2019 Otoge struggles and later dumped them stranded while the Governor and his appointees are enjoying government largesse
The APC rally , which was organised by Appointees of Governor Abdulrazaq to fake popularity for him in Edu LG, was attended majorly by hired politicians from ilorin and other parts of kwara but decorated as Edu LG rally to support AA second term .
Troubles started when the local youths sighted them gathered to kick off the rally. The youths quickly mobilised themselves, came out in large numbers to confront the organisers of the rally thay Edu people habe rejected Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq and his appointees, whom they accused of using government money to snatch their wives and girlfriends .
The youths who lamented their ordeals in courts said they have rejected Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq second term bid because to them, he has failed the people of Edu who laid down their lives to bring him and his failed party to government
They also carried several placards with inscriptions to demonstrate their anger
Some of the inscriptions read:
“Gov. Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq is a Failure , Insh Allah, No second term for failure.
“Ramoni, we are tired of your failed promises “.
“We are tired of going to court after using us against PDP for their political gains ”
The youths, who are mostly apc members also addressed press in their local dialects , lamenting how Abdulrazaq government has failed Edu people and declaring vote for no confidence on the Governor and his cabinet members.
This is an unprecedented rejections for Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq and his party in Kwara north. It is also an indication that Kwarans have seen through all the lies and propaganda used in 2019 to hoodwink them against the PDP’s administration.
