The Kwara State chapter of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), a prominent socio-cultural group in Northern Nigeria, has congratulated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on his appointment as the Sardauna Geri of the Ilorin Emirate.

In a statement released by the State Publicity Secretary, Mal. Yusuf Olayinka Erubu and signed by the State Secretary of the group, Alh Abdullahi Yusuf stated that, “the ACF lauded the decision of the Emir of Ilorin, Alh Dr. Ibrahim Gambari, CFR to confer the prestigious title on the governor.”

The ACF described the conferment of the Sardauna Geri title as a testament to the governor’s exemplary leadership qualities and his unwavering commitment to the development of the state.

The group noted that, “The title is a perfect fit for the governor, as it shares many similarities with the late Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto.” The statement said.

The group under the leadership of the State Chairman, Dr. Muhammad Ghali Alaaya,  added that, “the Sardauna Geri title embodies wisdom, integrity, and a dedication to serving the people.”

The ACF expressed its delight at the decision, stating that the title not only recognizes the governor’s outstanding achievements in governance but also underscores the strong bond between tradition and modern leadership in community service and the advancement of the interests of the people.

The ACF however, congratulated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on this prestigious honor and pledged its continued support for his administration’s efforts to transform Kwara State and improve the lives of its citizens.
