Football Tournament in Funakaye Strengthens Youth Unity

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Funakaye Local Government Area of Gombe state, Alhaji Kawu Zitu Tongo, has described the APC-led administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya as people-oriented.

Alhaji Kawu Zitu made this statement while speaking at a football competition organized by a young politician in the area, Abubakar Gimba Jillahi.

He commended the various projects executed by the current administration and applauded the efforts of the Funakaye Local Government Chairman, Shuaibu Abdulrahman Adam, urging him to maintain the momentum.

In their remarks, the Councillor representing Kupto, Adamu Sambo, and Saidu Wakili of Ribadu Ward expressed their happiness over the competition and described it as an initiative that fosters unity among the youth in Gombe North.

Adamu Sambo and Saidu Wakili also praised Abubakar Gimba Jillahi, calling him a pillar among young politicians in Funakaye South while encouraged others to emulate his political strategies.

Speaking at the event, Abubakar Gimba Jillahi emphasized that the football tournament was initiated to build strong relationships among the youth and promote further development in the region.

The competition was organized by APC youth politician Abubakar Gimba Jillahi in Funakaye Local Government Area of Gombe State.
