New Chairperson of Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe Board Pays Familiarization Visit

The newly appointed Chairperson of the Board of Management, Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe (FTHG), Hajiya Zainab Abubakar Ibrahim, has paid a familiarization visit to the institution, she was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and hails from Jalingo, Taraba State.

During an interactive session with the hospital’s staff and management, Hajiya Zainab Abubakar assured them of her commitment to enhancing the institution’s service delivery and ensuring excellence in healthcare.

She commended the APC-led administration for its human capital development projects, which directly benefit ordinary citizens and further with called for prayers to help her effectively discharge her duties.

Earlier, the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Dr. Yusuf Muhammad Abdullahi, briefed the chairperson on the hospital’s activities, which include medical services, training, and research while reaffirmed the staff and management’s dedication to complementing President Tinubu’s efforts in improving healthcare services.

In his remarks, Gombe State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Habu Dahiru, highlighted the state government’s collaboration with the teaching hospital and noted that Governor Inuwa Yahaya recently received an award for excellence in healthcare service delivery in the state.

Dr. Dahiru assured that Governor Yahaya’s administration remains committed to supporting and cooperating with the Federal Teaching Hospital to strengthen healthcare delivery in Gombe State.
