The President and Chief Executive Officer of Funab Group of Companies Ltd, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, has heartily congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary, today, Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

In a goodwill message signed by his Director of Communications, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan and made available to Journalists, Tuesday in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

Ajia described the Emir as a beacon of peace, unity, and progress whose reign has brought tremendous transformation to the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.

“Your Royal Highness, your 85th birthday is not only a celebration of your long and impactful life, but a moment of reflection on your enduring legacy of leadership, wisdom, and commitment to the growth and stability of our dear Emirate,” he stated.

Ajia, a prominent son of Ilorin Emirate, noted that since ascending the revered throne in 1995, the Emir has fostered a peaceful atmosphere that has attracted development and investments into Ilorin. He highlighted improvements in traditional institutions, education, inter-communal harmony, and infrastructural advancement, all made possible under the Emir’s guidance and fatherly leadership.

He further called on all sons and daughters of Ilorin Emirate, both at home and in the diaspora, to join hands in unity and contribute meaningfully to the continued development of the Emirate, Kwara State, and Nigeria as a whole.

“We must rally together around the vision of our Royal Father by promoting peace, unity, and development. Our collective strength lies in our togetherness. Let us all be active stakeholders in the progress of Ilorin,” he urged.

While praying for the continued good health of the monarch, Alhaji Ajia also wished the Emir a longer life filled with divine wisdom and strength to continue piloting the affairs of the Emirate with excellence and distinction.

“May Allah (SWT) grant our Royal Father sound health, strength, and more importantly, the divine wisdom to continue his selfless service to our people,” he prayed.

The statement concluded that Ajia reaffirms his personal and corporate commitment to the vision of a greater Ilorin Emirate.
